NOTICE AND TAKE-DOWN POLICY


The creators and contributors to the Occupied Paris project are committed to ensuring that the site’s materials are open and accessible for purposes of research and education. Attribution and permissions information are clearly indicated where copyright and rights of privacy, publicity, or trademark have been possible to establish. Although care has been taken to identify and remediate sensitive information that could threaten the privacy and security of individuals, organizations, or other entities represented in the collection(s), the nature of historical source material may result in the inadvertent inclusion of sensitive or private information.


Parties with reason to believe that materials included on this site infringe upon any of the above rights or privacy considerations are welcome to submit a request for the removal of the relevant items from the Occupied Paris site. In such cases, we will remove the materials from public view while the rights issue is reviewed. When submitting a notice to mperon@sas.upenn.edu, please include the following information:

1.Identification of the material that you believe to be infringing and information sufficient to permit us to locate the material;

2.Your name and contact information, such as an address, telephone number, and email address;

3.Your reason for the request;

4.Evidence or justification to support claims to the rights of the material.
